He's jumping up and down in his seat literally and he's making me laugh so much.'

Simon also spoke about how his son Eric would rather audition himself than follow in his footsteps and head up the panel. It's clear that Simon values his family time, especially when it comes to sharing special moments with his loved ones.

When asked about working with children on 'AGT,' Simon wisely noted: 'And with kids you can't fake it, you know? If they like something, they like it.' This sentiment is certainly true for Eric, who appeared to be thoroughly enjoying himself during filming.
